Creating a glowing oasis, we choreographed multi-functional play for varying aged participants through fields of soft, solid, and flowing mediums. The
design includes a 20 foot wide retractable facade opening, fire and earth encased in bent steel plates, custom LEDs illuminating glass pebble strips, and various forms of water to cool, collect, and conspire. The
material pallet gradient shifts in intensity to calibrate atmosphere and celebrate seasonal phenomena.
